Southern California Wildfires

LOS ANGELES — Several wildfires erupted across Southern California on Thursday, prompting authorities to evacuate hundreds of homes in one community and shutting down a stretch of a major interstate highway. A 450-acre fire raced through the Reche Canyon area toward a mobile home park in San Bernardino County, east of Los Angeles, forcing the evacuation of 200 homes, said county fire spokeswoman Tracey Martinez. Evacuation orders were later lifted. A 100-plus acre fire burned in a canyon west of Los Angeles, but no homes were immediately threatened, authorities said. http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,202471,00.html
