Tornado rips through China

BEIJING, June 29 (Reuters) - A tornado ripped through a village school in eastern China on Thursday, killing three students and injuring dozens, state media said. The pupils were about to take an end-term exam at the Zhupeng elementary school in Si county in Anhui province when the tornado hit, Xinhua news agency said on its Web site, www.xinhuanet.com. "Two classrooms collapsed and more than 30 casualties have been reported. At least three students have died so far," it said. Eleven middle school students in Anhui's Lingbi county died last July when a tornado collapsed their classroom's roof.

I'm really dumb when it comes to stuff like this. Are tornadoes uncommon in China? That's too bad people died. :(
