Rock, Paper, Scissors, Champion claims 7k

The World Series isn't over, but the sports world did crown a champion over the weekend. That would be Toronto lawyer Andrew Berger, who captured the World Rock Paper Scissors title on Sunday in front of a raucous hometown crowd. Berger threw paper to cover the rock of second-place finisher Stan Long, a student from California, en route to the gold medal and $7,000 first prize. That winning throw, though, only served to remind us of the game's (sorry, the "sport's") one major flaw. It makes sense that scissors cuts up paper and rock smashes scissors, but how come nobody bats an eye that paper covers rock?
